What You’ll Learn

  • Honey bee biology and colony roles
  • Essential tools and hive equipment
  • How to safely inspect and read a hive
  • Seasonal care and common pest awareness
  • Honey harvesting basics and next-step resources

This workshop combines in-class learning with live, hands-on hive experience, so you won’t just hear about beekeeping — you’ll actually practice it.

Includes printed training materials, loaner tools to practice with, snacks and drinks each session, and small-group instruction. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the foundational skills and confidence to kick off your own beekeeping journey and continue learning with clarity instead of guesswork.

Seats are limited to keep the experience personal and interactive — we can’t wait to welcome you to the hive!
